Vantage Partner Programme · Ventures & Alliances
For growth-stage ventures with traction. A structured route into enterprise opportunities.
The Vantage Partner Programme is the route by which independent African ventures (already operating, already with paying customers) are introduced to enterprise client opportunities, distribution channels, and growth capital through Future Lab engagements.
Vantage is the partner programme for organisations and individuals contributing capability into engagements we lead. Independent African ventures already operating with paying customers are routed to enterprise client opportunities, distribution channels, and growth capital introduced through our work. Curated by review. Inclusion is by review; participation is engagement-based.
Three value pillars
What Vantage offers partners.
The Vantage Partner Programme is structured around three value pillars. Every partner (Channel, Strategic, Alliance, or Venture) receives some configuration of all three; the mix and depth depend on partner category and tier.
Build
Capability, methodology, co-development.
Access to Future Lab's frameworks and methodology stack; technical co-development on platform integration and architecture; capability transfer where the partner needs to internalise know-how to deliver alongside us.
Market
Co-marketing, lead sharing, brand association.
Co-authored Insights content; co-presented sector convenings; structured lead sharing with the partner pipelines we operate; partner-tier marketplace listing visible to enterprise buyers; brand association where the partnership earns it.
Grow
Commercial incentives, revenue sharing, market access.
Commercial structures that reward referred and co-delivered work; preferred pricing into Future Lab engagements where the partner is upstream; market-access pathways into geographies and client segments a single firm would take years to reach directly.
Who Vantage is for
A small, defined fit.
Vantage is curated. Expressions of interest are reviewed against the floor below; admission depends on fit.
You qualify if
Your venture is operating, with traction.
- You are operating in an African market with paying customers and demonstrable revenue traction.
- Your venture is post-MVP, post-pilot, and through the early proof phase.
- Your sector aligns with, or is adjacent to, those Future Lab works in: financial services, telecoms, FMCG, energy, agribusiness, or impact-oriented work.
- You see commercial value in being introduced into enterprise engagement opportunities under our co-delivery standards.
- You are willing to be reviewed before being admitted, and you accept that admission does not guarantee any specific opportunity.
Vantage is not
A pre-revenue or seed-stage programme.
If you are at the idea, MVP, or early-pilot stage and looking for a co-creation partner, the right route is a Venture Co-Creation conversation through the Future Lab engagement side rather than Vantage.
If you are looking for direct investment, Future Lab is not an investor. We can sometimes make introductions; the programme itself provides capability and routing.
Adjacent route
If you have product-market fit at home and need a structured market entry.
Vantage routes ventures into our client engagements. The Venture Market Access Programme (VMAP) is the adjacent route for growth-stage ventures that have product-market fit at home and need to enter new markets. The structured six-to-twelve-month engagement resolves sequencing, GTM design, distribution partnerships, regulatory pathway, and capital plan in order.
Ventures that complete VMAP and succeed in the new market are natural candidates for Vantage admission afterwards. The two routes work together; each addresses a different need. Venture Market Access Programme →
How it works
From introduction to admission.
No fixed cohort dates. Expressions of interest are reviewed continuously; admitted ventures join the panel and become eligible for routing as engagement opportunities arise.
01
Express interest
Submit the form below. Include traction evidence, sector, and the kind of engagement opportunity that would be commercially meaningful to your venture.
02
Review
A working session with a Future Lab partner. Two-way: we are evaluating fit, and you are evaluating whether the programme delivers what you need.
03
Admission
Admitted ventures are added to the Vantage panel. Onboarding includes documenting the proposition, target opportunity profile, and commercial structure for routed work.
04
Routing
As engagement opportunities arise that fit your venture, we make the introduction. The commercial relationship is structured per opportunity, agreed transparently in advance.
