Cookies

A short list of what this site stores on your device.

This page explains the cookies and similar storage Future Lab uses on this website. We aim to use as few as possible, and to be specific about why each one is here.

Essential cookies

These are required for the site to function. They store your interface preferences (theme, dismissed notices) and keep forms working across page loads. They contain no personal information and cannot be turned off without breaking parts of the site.

Analytics cookies

We use a small set of analytics tools to understand which pages are read, how readers move through the site, and where things break. The data is aggregated and does not identify you individually. Analytics cookies are loaded only after you accept the relevant category in the consent banner; if you decline, they are never set.

No advertising cookies

We do not run advertising on this site. We do not place tracking pixels for advertising platforms. We do not pass information to third-party advertising networks.

Controlling cookies

You can change your choice at any time using the button below. This re-opens the consent banner and resets your stored preference. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so on this site will preserve all reading functionality but may reset your interface preferences each visit.

Questions

If you have a question about a specific cookie or want a fuller technical breakdown, email hellofuturelab.africa with the subject line "Cookies question" and we will respond.

This page is an interim notice. A fuller document will replace it before public launch of the full Future Lab platform.
