Privacy

How we handle the information you share with us.

Future Lab is preparing a full privacy notice covering how we collect, use, and protect personal data across our website, working sessions, and ecosystem programmes. The notice below summarises our current position. The full document will be published before public launch.

What we collect

When you contact us through this website, express interest in a programme, or subscribe to the Insights newsletter, we collect the information you provide directly. That includes your name, organisation, email address, the country you operate in, and the message or application content. We do not buy contact lists or scrape information about you from other sources.

How we use it

We use the information you share to respond to your enquiry, deliver the programme you expressed interest in, or send you the Insights newsletter you subscribed to. We do not sell your information. We do not pass it to advertisers. Within Future Lab, your information is accessed only by team members who need it to do the work you have asked us to do.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies for essential functionality (remembering your preferences, keeping forms working) and a privacy-conscious analytics setup that records how pages are used in aggregate. See the Cookies page for the full list and how to control them.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you. You can also ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a specific purpose. Email hellofuturelab.africa with the subject line "Privacy request" and we will respond within fifteen working days.

Data retention

We keep contact and enquiry information only for as long as it is needed to maintain the working relationship, plus a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and statutory record-keeping. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Changes to this notice

We will not change the substance of how we treat your information without notifying anyone we currently hold a record for. Material updates will be reflected here with a revised date.
